Abstract

Adolescence is a crucial stage in the development of the human being, it is at this stage when the individual develops new affective ties that can last a lifetime, it is also at this stage when transcendental decisions are made as the choice of career, among other decisions important According to the World Health Organization (2023) it is in adolescence when risk factors increase in different dimensions: health, family, school, social and personal. The central purpose of the study was to describe the risk factors of the health and social dimensions, as well as the expression of anger in adolescents who attend the secondary level, whose city of residence is Pachuca de Soto, Hidalgo (Mexico). Participants were 289 students (150 men, 139 women, M-age=13.39, S.D.=1.12). Two instruments were used; the first to measure the risk factors and the second to measure the expression of anger. The findings indicated that the most alarming risk factors are located in the Family and Social dimensions. In what corresponds to the expression of anger, the results indicate that it is women who express this emotion more frequently. In conclusion, it is important to continue with the study of risk factors and anger expression in young adolescents, in order to generate prevention alternatives on the topics of interest.
