Abstract

COVID-19 generated changes in social dynamics that were reflected in education at all academic levels. However, mothers of children in basic education experienced changes not only in the teaching of their daughters and sons, but also in their family roles and dynamics, which were permeated by the lack of resources, the stress generated, the digital divide, the lack of pedagogical tools, etc. This study responds to the objective of analyzing the experiences within the family dynamics of adversity and resilience of women regarding early childhood education at home during forced confinement during COVID-19. Through a qualitative methodology, the main results showed the adversity and vulnerability to which mothers of children in basic primary education were exposed and the creative processes of resilience that were generated as a result of said adversity.
