Abstract

The categories of gender analysis, gender hierarchies, regulated and structured in binary systems, which empower and oppress genders unequally, are discussed in order to analyze the references of an empirical case, recovered through qualitative technique. of the interview, theoretical reflections that make it possible to carry out a reading of social structures and their reproduction in the exercise of power in positions of popular representation, where this hierarchical binarism not only acts to the detriment of women and in favor of men, but rather favors its perpetuity.
